Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I Consult A Doctor For Mild Chest Pain, Leg Cramping And Palpitations?
Have had heart flutters/palpitations regularly for the last week. Just today I have a mild chest pain and cramping in my leg........nothing debilitating, but wondering if this is something to call my dr about. I just had an EKG done 3 days ago and it showed nothing.
thanks for the query. An ECG is like a snapshot, while a Holter monitor is like a short movie clip, so you can see your heart activity for a longer period of time. I would encourage you to contact your doctor and discuss the advantages of a heart monitor such as a Holter with ongoing symptoms.
Hope that helps, wish you the best,
