Should I Continue Taking Benadryl When Suffering From Itching And Rashes?

Hi I too have been taking amoxicillin and as we speak I have a rash that's not visible but my skin is very itchy and red and swollen and some areas at night my feet is itchy , swollen and painful as well I have been taking Benadryl for the itch but I was wondering should I continue to take the Benadryl everyday until its gone what should I do

Hi
It is not clear why you are taking amoxycillin.Is it for any infection? and amoxycillin can cause allergic reaction and stop this drug and consult your physcian so that he may prescribe alternative antibiotic depending on the necessity.
Regarding benadryl you can continue it ,but your physcian may advise tests to find cause of allergy we can plan the treatment accordingly
