Should I Continue Taking Zetia, Simvastatin, Lisinopril And Aspirin For Red Blotches On Arms?
My husband is taking Zetia 10mg 1xday, Simvastatin 40 bid, and Lisinopril 10mg and 81mg aspirin. He gets bruised easily, gets red blotches on his arms and is difficult to get blood to clot. This seems like a lot of medication. Is this normal (or acceptable I guess I should say). We are getting a second opinion, but curious in the meantime.
These are side effects of aspirin. They occur due to thinning of blood. I would recommend you to consult your doctor whether to continue it or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
