Should I Continue To Take Amlodipine Before The Scheduled Surgery?
Hello, I am scheduled for surgery the 1st week of February and I am currently taking amlodipine besylate 5MG daily. Should I continue taking this medication or stop taking this now to prepare for surgery? I will be getting a place cut off my finger that is athritus connected.

Please, continue taking the medications exactly as prescribed. There is no contraindication to taking this drug up to the day of your surgery. Stopping could rather make surgery more difficult than it should be. It is a very safe medication and would not affect surgery.
