Should I Give A Rabbis Vaccine If There Is No Wound By Dog Scratch?

my daughter got a scratch by our dog(CAT II accdg.to animal bite center) last christmas and receive a 4 rabi-pur shot at the hospital. last oct. 26 2011 (less than a year after the first EXPOSURE) she again got a scratch from our dog. no open wounds, or blood was seen at the skin. just a scratch on the skin. the dog have a rabies vaccine. do we need to have another rabi-pur shot for my daughter?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Even the slightest scratch irrespective of the bleeding needs minimum 3 shots of Rabipur vaccine during observation period of 10 days.
If the dog survives after 10 days the remaining shots may be avoided.
