Should I Go For Hip Replacement For Hip Problems And Severe Back Problems After Taking Dilaudid

have a question about pain killers, I m in dire need for a hip replacement as soon as funds are available, thehip has been bad since 2011 but was unnoticed due to severe back problems; so here s my question, what pain reliever works best on bone on bone ? I am currently taking 4mg of dilaudid several times a day, but doesn t seem to help my pain; I am allergic to oxecodone.

Hi,
As you are already taking a morphine-type drug I suggest you add a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory which will work in a different way and complement the Dilaudid. Therefore, you could try ibuprofen which is particularly useful for this type of pain. In addition take regular paracetamol.
