Should I Not Use Barrier Cream On The Bed Sores Causing The Skin To Peel?
I have been in the hospital for over a week and just got home but broke my leg and cant move around much. My butt started getting a rash and I had a bed sore. I put some barrier cream on it and now my skin is peeling off. Is this normal? Should I have not put it on there and if not what should I put on there?
Hi, Having bed sores in bed ridden condition are common. Clean the area with alcohol or antiseptic lotion and apply antibiotic cream. Important is to change the position frequently and keep local part untouched on bed for more time. Use water or air bed. Use cushion ring and by that keep bed sore area avoiding touching bed. Ok and take care.
