Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello

Any type of stress to human body causes an increase in heart rate, infection is also a type of stress to bodies metabolism due to which sympathetic drive is increased leading to fast heart rate. Once your sinus infection will subside your heart rate will also normalise.

Kind Regards
