Should I Soak My Toe In Epsom Salt To Reduce Pain Due To Nail Removal?

HI, I had my big toenail removed on Thursday and have been soaking it in dial anti-bacterial soap twice a day, and am putting trile antibiotic cream on it per Dr. s instructions. I woke up at 1:30 this morning in a lot of pain (throbbing). I took 2 advil and that helped. Should I still be in pain? I have had this dprocedure done in the past on another toe and don t remember the pain a day later. I was also soaking it in epsom salts, ordered by the DR. that treated me at the time. Should I be soaking it in the epsom salt?
