Hello dear,

The tests such as Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL are grouped as lipid profile tests, which determine the risk of coronary heart disease in an individual.
The results of the lipid profile are considered along with other known risk factors of heart disease to develop a plan of treatment and follow-up.

Since your blood investigations revealed increase in Triglycerides & you are not willing to take medications, you have to take certain measures related to Lifestyle & Diet such as regular exercise, avoid smoking, reduced consumption of carbohydrates, increase consumption of omega-3 fatty acids (such as fish oil) & a diet enriched with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, olive oil, and legumes.

Kindly discuss regarding this with your treating Physician.
Wishing you a Good Health.
Take care.
