Should I Stop Taking Flomax Post TURP Surgery?

I had a successful TURP five days ago and wonder, since I am peeing fully, why my good urologist had me stop taking Flomax. I do have urges and I don t see a conflict between the relaxation from Flomax and the TURP surgery. I have little pain, just some stinging and I am peeing at about the same level as before the surgery. Thanks RB

You can stop flomax following surgery as prostate has been excised and now there is no role for this drug.
