Should I Take Primolut N For Irregular Periods?

Hi..My last cycle was on 31st so i was expecting my dates to be around 27 this month. However weakness in my legs has already started and im getting the pre menstrual pain and uneasyness since 22nd. I have a planned travel vacation now on 24/25/26 and cannot postpone. I have been advised to take meprate 10mg twice a day starting today. Wanted to check , will it still help to delay my periods or is it late to start it now? Should i take Primolut N instead? Which is more effective of the two to delay periods now when my pain has started (not bleeding)

Hello,

We usually recommend using Primolut N 3 to 4 days before the period taking 3 tables per day. You should use it for 10 days. The period will come in 7days after stopping it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
