Should I Visit ER For Extremely Painful Ovarian Cyst?

I have what I think may be an ovarian cyst. I have had one before. But this one is extremely painful. I'm not sure if its the last one or not. And it hurts to walk. Would it be okay to wait until tomorrow and go to my general doctor ( what could they do for it?) or should I go to the Er?

Hello and welcome,

I understand the issue. If you have had a history of cyst and now the pain is increased then there is a chance that either there is bleeding in the cyst or it has got twisted on itself or it has ruptured.

In all three cases you need to go to the ER to have an emergency ultrasound scan with doppler to help in diagnosis.

So please go as soon as possible.
Hope this satisfies your query.
