Should Another Course Of Augmentin Be Continued For Full Riddance From Infection?

I have been prescribed Augmentin for a baterial infection from a flea bit here in india, the infection has gone down, but i have finished the last of my course of tablets and it is still there, do i need another course, or will it coontinue to fight the infection?

The symptoms of infection should have resolved-fever, increased warmth in the area, redness, swelling, discharge, pain

If these symptoms are still present then you may need another course of antibiotics.

If you are well, then the infection has resolved. Even when the infection resolves you would still have a discoloration and possible scar tissue present.
