Should Antibiotics Be Given To An Infant With High Fever, Pain In Throat And Reduced Appetite?
Hi, You can talk to your treating doctor again. He was correct in asking you to wait for 48 hers because most of the fevers are viral. However if the child is not able to feed go to the doctor again because it may be strep throat . Your doctor can reexamine the child and also assess for dehydration and general condition. Good luck Dr Uma
