Should Antihistamines Be Stopped After Been Diagnosed With Floaters And Flashes And Dry Eyes?

My eyes have been very dry..i use benedryl to sleep and sometimes during day..will it help if i stop..also take sudafedi have recently been diagnosed with floaters and flashes..annoying ....wera1.75 readers but left eye had been dry....blurred and feels like sand is in it..should i stop antihistamines

It seems from the history that you take antihistamines and you are diagnosed with dry eye and you are having floaters.

Antihistamines are known to cause ocular side effects in the form of dry eye. Hence if you are having dry eyes antihistamines should be replaced by some other alternative drug.
However antihistamines have got no effect on floaters and flashes.
