Should Detoxification Be Started Immediately Upon Vomiting In An Alcohol Addict?
My friend needs to enter rehab now- vomitting, shaking and losing control (his explanation) and knows without drinking he is gonna be sick. he s got a dr appt on tuesday and Im trying to convince him that he should go to rehab tonight. He s resistant for now and thinks he can wait till Tuesday. He will drink all day tomorrow and I want to know if he really can wait till Tuesday? isn t it important that the detox start now and not wait till Tuesday? Are rehab centers open 24 hours? in SF, btw
