Should Finger Be Removed If Cancer Remains After Knuckle Removal?

Hello, my name is Teresa
I have had a wort fungus on my index finger for about 27 years. I was told it was fungus wort so a handful of times I have had it pulled off, burned and many medicines and nothing seemed to work. I then had a biopsy done back in 2007. Come back more wort not much fungus. I am 48 years old and tired of my finger so I was told to see Dr. Izadi and I had my fingernail taken completely off will not come back. Had a skin graph, waited for biopsy it came back with squamous dysphasia (severe squamous cell carcinoma in-situ) they want to remove my finger to the first knuckle. Then that to the biopsy and wait until results. If cancer still remains want to take the whole finger off. What's your thoughts?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I red your history very carefully, squamous cell carcinoma if it is in-situ then with the chemotherapy it get cure there may not get a chance for regeneration or fro spreading some time even without chemotherapy regression being noted It may not be likely that the total amputation will be required lets hope for the good keep your moral high good luck and have great day.
