Should I Be Worried About High Resting Heart Rate And Flutters?

I was sent to er from prime care due to heart rate and palpitations. Overall tests were all ok. Told I did show high resting rate and flutters and to see cardiologist. If all blood tests, the ekg they do at first, and xray are ok...why see a cardiologist? It s also worse at night. I am not wanting to waste my time or doctors time for what the Er says is ok.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi i read your query very carefully.

The ER doctor only excluded life threatening disease (such as heart attack, pulmonary thrombosis ect.). However it looks like you may suffer from arrhythmia (such as atrial premature complex, atrial fibrillation ect.) and a exact diagnosis should be made.

So i also suggest consulting a cardiologist to deal with your concern.

Hope it was of help!
