Should I Be Worried About The Fever After A Long Flight?

Fever
Hi Doctor,

My wife is having a fever 38.3°C, and I believe it is because she is too tired. she took a 13 hrs flight and kept working for two days.... I know the best thing for her would be taking a good rest. but i would
like to know when I should take her to a hospital instead? 40°C? is there anything else i could do to prevent this? thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
She had 13 hours of journey, and 2 days of work, but fever could be due to exertion, or infection, even exertion needs treatment to prevent chronic hyper thermia.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment .
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ranitidine, paracetamol, and infuse fluids.
I also recommend to take fruits, juices, and liquids as much as possible.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
