Should I Be Worried About The Loss Of Mucous Plug Followed By Cramps And Back Pain?

I'm 40 weeks pregnant and about an hour ago I think I lost my mucus plug. It was about the size of a quarter, no blood but looked yellow and green. Since then I've had cramping.g back pain and a couple of contractions. Is this something I should worry about.
