Should I Be Worried About The Sting Caused By An Implanon?
Hey there. my name is Amber-lee. i ve got the implanon , i ve had it in for about two years now and it s been stinging under the skin where it s placed. there is no bruising or redness, just the very stingy feeling kind of like a constant bee sting. should i be worried about this?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. Any symptoms with the implanon implant are an indication for removal and replacing at a new site. The implant may impinge on local soft tissue or a nerve to produce such symptoms. It might have been fractured or infected, in which case it may not serve it's purpose and may lead to untoward health issues. I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
