Should I Be Worried Of My Urine Analysis Report?

hi, im 24 years old 12 weeks pregnant...i have my urinalysis result now..character: slightly turbid, pus cells: more than 100, rbc: 1-3, epithelial cells: plenty, A. urates/phosphates: moderate, bacteria: moderate...makes me so nervous now.....how serious it is?pls help.

Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from urinary tract infection(UTI).
This is indicated by slightly turbid appearance of urine and presence of pus cells,RBC,epithelial cells,bacteria etc in urine.
UTI need immediate medical attention in pregnancy
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
Ultrasound of abdomen can detect other associated pathology.
At present you need proper antibiotics after culture and sensitivity report.
