Should I Be Worried Of The Pelvic Sonogram Result?
Hello:
I'm 52 year's old, I had a abdomem and Limited Pelvic sonogram that shows that I have a an enlarged uterus with a 2 to 3 cm hypo & hyperechoic mass in the anterior fundus. I would like to know if I should be concerned? I experience extremely heavy periods and extreme pain in my pelvic area, and pressure.
According to reports, uterus is enlarged in size.Hypo & hyperechoic mass in the anterior fundus may be due to fibroid. Fibroid is benign tumour of the uterus. Treatment of fibroid is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc. You should consult gynecologist. Hope i have answered your query.
