Should I Go To ER As The Lump On My Tail Bone Began To Leak Pus And Blood?

Five days ago I went to the ER because of a painful lump on my tailbone/top of my butt crack that made it very painful to sit or lie down. The doctor told me that it was an abscess and tried to drain it, but said it wouldn't drain. I have been taking clindamycin and am supposed to see a surgeon in four days. However just now the lump has begun leaking pus and blood. It is a slow leak but it is uncomfortable and I have taped gauze over it but do not know if it will soak through while I sleep. I wasn't told if this should happen or not. What should I do - wait until I see the surgeon, go to the ER, or try to get to a doctor in the morning?
