Should I See A Family Doctor As My Daughter Is Complaining Of Cramps And Pain In Periods?

my 16 year old daughter has been complaining the last 3 months about her menstrual cycles. (having more pain, cramps, and having thick clots). One the first and second day she usually comes home from school- nausea, faint feeling, cramps. Should she see her family doctor or is this normal?
