Should Precautions Be Taken By Fellow Mates Of A Person Suffering From Streptococcus Pneumonia?

I have an employee that has been diagnosed with miningitis. He is going into his week in ICU and has just been move to a rehab facility. After a couple of weeks into this they said it was streptococcus pneumoniae. He drove our truck and delivered furniture on a Friday and by Saturday morning he has been out of it. Since I have not talked personally to a doctor I am not sure if we have the correct diagnosis. I am very concerned about him. I feel he is not in a responsive state. There six other employees in our store, should there be a concern about their well being? There has not been any notification to our company from the hospital or doctors if there should be any precautions we should take. I am amazed at the lack of concern to this ordeal.
