Should T-minic Be Continued Or Switched To Anbrolite Levo And Cefop For Fever?
My daughter who is suffering with cold & fever for last 15 days is taking T-minic & crocin cyrup. At times her temprature is about 99 *F to 100*F.The doctor has prescribed Ambrolite Levo & Cefo prox.Should i continue with T-minic or go for Ambrolite Levo & Cefoprox.
After reading your post, I would like to suggest that you should follow the advise of her paediatrician who has clinically examined her.
Since the symptoms were not controlled by T-minic, your doctor must have changed to Ambrolite Levo. Cefoprox is an antibiotic and is given in bacterial infections. I would suggest giving a probiotic along with the antibiotic to prevent antibiotic induced diarrhoea. You can give crocin syrup for fever. She should drink lots of water daily.
Following investigations may be helpful :- 1. Complete Blood Count(CBC). 2. Throat swab culture.
I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.
