Should The Bruise On My Leg After An Injury Be Checked?
I have a blood clot in so my between my heart & chest,, they found this when I was in the hospital , it is between deep vein thrombosis, anhy way this was back in 2012. Yesterday I fell in my bathroom and bruised me leg really bad , it is swollen and looks bad , do you think it needs to be checked. Thank you

Hello, Thanks for writing to us. You have soft tissue injury that is the tissue which cover shin marked by internal bleeding(bluish/black discoloration), swelling,warm and so on. they usually get resolve in 2-3 weeks time with ice fomentation, rest and limb elevation. You can take Tablet Motrin 1 tablet with food as and when required (upto 4 tablets daily). Hope this helps you.
