Shouldn't The Laparotomy Surgery Scar Be Healed By Now?

Hello there, I'm a 39 y/o female who had a exploratory lapiradomy due to the fact that I had a bulge by my umbilical button which was protruding and painful. A ct scan show nothing therefore my dr. adviced for an exploratory l.... to see of any possible foreing object as I had a tummy tuck a few years back. Today is exactly a week and I have been bed resting and last night I noticed slight bleeding from part of my incision reddish and then brownish color. I have no pain, fever but swelling a lot. My dr. said this is normal and that the bleeding can be slight residue buld up from my incision. Shouldn't my incision been healed by now ? Please help
