Since The Condom Broke, Used Levonorgestrel. Bleeding Seen. Period Is Late. Pregnancy Test Is Negative. Problem?

I used levonorgestrel a month ago because when I had sex the condom broke, nothing got inside of me, but to be sure I took it. I bled for a couple days after I took the pill. Its been over a month and I have yet to get my period. Im 18 days late. I took a pregnancy test a week or two ago and it was negative. Whats wrong with me?

Thanks for posting your query.

From the information you have provided, I understand that you had taken emergency contraception after a condom accident.

Sometimes periods can get delayed due to levonorgesterol intake .
But as the test was negative two weeks ago chances are you are not pregnant.

But either way , you will have to induce your periods as you have waited for more than two weeks.

Please make an appointment with your gynaecologist who will help you with this.
Its best to go on a reliable method of contraception as well.

Hope this has helped.
All the best, take care.
