Sleep Apnea, Use Machine, Have Feeling Of Truck Hit, Eye Heaviness After Waking And Throughout The Day. Any Ideas?
I am a sleep apnea patient and religiously sleep with my machine every night. I used to wake up and bounce out of Ned but lately I feel like a truck hit me from the moment I wake up and all day long! I have had blood work done with D low and am taking 5,000 iu s to make up for it but my eyes are SO HEAVY ALL DAY LONG and the water all morning until around noon. Do you have any idea what might be wrong?
Hello,
I want to stress that a given symptom in medicine can have multiple causes and the treatment depends upon the cause. Back to your question, the symptoms which have posted would suggest a possibility of poorly treated sleep apnea. Further, i dont know what exactly the pressure you need to treat the sleep apnea. For example, if a person need a pressure of 8 and he uses ordinary CPAP machine he will not improve with this, he may benefit with auto CPAP. Another patient who needs a pressure of 14, he would benefit with BiPAP rather than CPAP.I strongly advise you to get examined by a sleep specialist and repeat a sleep study. This will give us an idea about your health condition and we will be able to guide you better.
hope this will clarifies
