Slightly Swollen Leg, Warm To Touch, Redness. History Of Being Bit By Insect Followed By Discharge. On Antihistamines. Serious?

My daughter was bit by some sort of insect last Sunday on her leg. On Wednesday rubbish came out of it and it stopped hurting. It is still slightly swollen, is warm to the touch and the redness measures about 5/6cms across, she has been taking antihistimins and putting savlon on it, do you think she needs to see a doctor?

Hi,

if you say that the leg is getting better you don't need to see a doctor.

just continue with the local treatment savlon several times a day, and continue with antihistamins for several days also.

In case you see aggravating signs , than you have to consult a doctor.
