Small Bump Found In Skin Graft Performed On Nose For Basal Skin Cancer. What Could It Be?
Hello. I had Moh s surgery with a skin graft performed for basal skin cancer on the side of my nose three week ago. The graft is healing well. It is white and raised a little, which I would imagine is normal. However, this morning I woke up and noticed a small, white, bump (almost looking like a cyst ...best way to describe it) in the graft, toward one side. Any idea what this may be? Thank you...

Sorry to hear about your problem. The cyst you are describing is quite common after skin grafting. It is the collection of fluid beneath the graft and it usually subsides with time. If it does not settle down by itself within a day or two, you can visit your doctor and they would just evacuate the cyst by putting pressure on it or by puncturing it. Do not try to evacuate the fluid yourself, as it can lead to the infection of the graft.
