Small Child, Given Ambroxol Hydrochloride With Cetrizine, Pain On Passing Urine. Side Effects Of Medication?

hello sir can Ambroxol Hydrochloride given to baby of 4 months old, will it cause side effects, My baby was given Ambroxol Hydrochloride with cetrizine & my baby cried for whole night while passing urine , Kindly advice what can i do, My pediatrician telling me it can be given, But broucher in Relent syrup says not give baby less than 2 yaers baby. what can i do now

Though you have mentioned that your child is being given ambroxol but you have not mentioned the reason for being given this medicine. Ambroxol can be given to children below 2 years of age.

Regarding your query of the child crying while passing urine, you need to get the urine examined to rule out urine infection. Urine infection can be the cause of the child crying.
