Small Child, Nasal Congestion, Loss Of Sleep. Will It Affect Her Respiratory System Or Heart?
Hi my 8 months daughter has blocked nose for alomost 3 months now when shes sleeping , her doctoer prescribed baby saline but its not that useful and said its because of tje pollutwd sir we have her, I m concerned if it coild affect her respiratory system or heart on the long run , and ofcourse both of us are out of sleep since along time , olease advice thanks

There are some other medicines like cetrizine syrup which you can use.
The child will get over this as he grows.
Just rule out a condition called partial or unilateral choanal atresia if the block is really bad.
Get a second opinion.

If there is continuous blockage of nose and difficulty in breathing you should contact your doctor once.
Blocked nose for such a long time requires other diagnosis to be considered.
Is your baby other wise active or not?
Is there any discharge from the nose?
Is she having any fever?
