Small Lump In The Armpit. Healthy Lifestyle With Smoking Habit. Possible Cancer?

Hello, I am 22 years old. I have always been healthy and still be. I have noticed a small lump in my armpit. I shave my armpits with a machine (not completely) since I am quite hairy. I drink alcohol socially and I am a smoker (9-10 cigs a day). I lift weights and do treadmill 3 times a week. I want to ask, what might that lumb be? could it be cancer in my age? I have noticed that it changes sizes. I also have noticed a lumb in my bicep, but I dont think it is actually a lump. I can move it with my fingers and is rather small. I have a date to visit the doctor this monday but I'm curious. Overall I have no other symptoms of anything dangerous. I have energy and sleep 6 hours a day. I change deodorant too. I think it's getting smaller now. Also about the lumb in bicep (if it is a lumb) it only appears when my arm is not straight. If it's straight its not even there. But the lumb in my armpit worries me a bit.

Hi,
There are lymph glands in your armpit and these sometimes swell if there is infection in the area. This infection may not always be obvious to you. It may be an inflamed cut on your hand for example that you hardly notice. This is a more likely cause for the enlargement than cancer. At your age, cancer is rare.
The lump on your bicep is also likely to be nothing to worry about. If it is only present when you bend your arm then it may be a small swelling of your biceps muscle or one of the tendons in your upper arm. Again, this is most likely to be entirely normal.
I hope this has reassured you.
Best regards.
