Small Red Bump On Lower Left Eyelid, Looks Like A Cyst. Can Anything Be Done About It ?

I went to an eye doctor today. I thought I had a cyst on my lower left eyelid. When he examined me he said it was probably a blocked blood vessel. It's a small red bump and it is noticeable. He said there was nothing that could be done about it and to just apply makeup on it to cover it up. I've had it for over a year. Is it true that nothing can be done about it?

hi swelling in the lower lid for a year, probably painless, could be chalazion, which is due to blocked mebomian gland duct. you need to see opthalmologist for minor surgery for its removal. all the very best.
