Snorting Caffeine Pills. Side Effects?

Just curious, What are the side effects to snorting caffeine pills . (Crushing them up into fine powder) Some people say it does nothing harmful and its just a quicker way to get the energy you want. And other say you do it once and it ll kill you. I just want real evidence . Not that I m planning on doing it I m not stupid. I m just having an argument with a friend about it. Just wanna know who is right or wrong.

Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for your query, when you snort something, more of the drug gets into your blood stream at a higher rate. A caffeine pill is 200 mg of caffeine when swallowed, meaning you get 200 mg of caffeine in your blood stream when consuming over 3-4 hours. When you snort the pill, you'll get the 200 right away instead of gradually. Although this probably won't hurt you for once, consuming more than 500-600 mg of caffeine a day (or at once) can have adverse effects and slowly will affect your nasal mucosal linings.
