Soft, Non Painful Swelling On Neck. What Could This Be?
Hi I have a soft tissue non painful swelling on my neck .... where my gland is under my jaw line ... its not painful and when i move the swelling it will freely move to my face /jaw line ... I do suffer from eczema in my ears . I have no pain but it is noticeable it appeared suddenly after putting olive oil in my ears 4 weeks ago . When i turn my head to the side it just feels like I have a fat neck on one side . my glands on both sides appear the same size once i move the swollen flesh ?
Hello, The swelling you have might be salivary gland swelling . To rule out any infection and get a proper diagnosis you need to get an ent consultation . Salivary gland may enlarge either due to an obstruction in the outflow tract of saliva or due to some infection. Further you can get done an ultrasonography neck to get it ruled out. In doubt do reply
