Sore And Itchy Bite On The Lower Back, Dried And Scabbed After Using Antibiotics. Why Does It Recur ?

About 2 years ago I got what was like a bite or something in my lower back. It welted up and was really sore and itchy. After a couple weeks it dried up and went scabby then went away but every few months it comes back. I went to a doctor and she said it was a skin bug and gave me cream and antibiotics but why does it keep coming back ??

dear jomick1900

if it were a simple infection it would not have recurred.
we might have to rule out an eczematous condition or a chronic infection
a closer look, probably via a picture might help
see if you can send a pic
that will help me provide me a better solution to your problem

dr amit
