Sore Lumps Under Armpit Which Are Bursting And Are Recurring. What Might Be The Problem?
I had one lump that got larger and more painful, burst and went away but now i have two more in the same area under the same armpit, the same kind res sore and growing again. do i wait for them to burst again? - thank you but unfortunately i havent any med ins and meke minimum wage and have no money.I havent seen any kind of doctor for over 8 years .
Hello, Thank you for posting the query. The condition you are referring is most likely Hidradenitis suppurativa. It is bascially inflammation of your apocrine sweat glands. This condition has tendency for recurrence and causing scarring over affected areas thus mandating proper treatment. I would advise you to start oral Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day with local application of clindamycin solution twice a day over it.Also add an antiseptic soap containing triclosan(Soapex)for proper cleansing of those areas. You may add warm compresses to relieve pain and discomfort. Thank you
