Sore Testicle After Walking Up Hill. History Of Herniated Disc. What Is This?
Excuse Dr. A.S. Keerthi I was walking up a hill a minute ago and felt a tear where my thigh and torso meet right at the top of my scrodom. Immediately I felt a sorness on my left testicle9it is still hurting). I do alot of heavy lifting and herniated a disc in my back a while back. I also noticed burping from deep in my throat . but no blood was in my urine or no blood in my spit ? What is it, should I go to the hospital?
Such symptom can be caused by inguinal hernia which has reached the scrotum. This can happen suddenly during lifting heavy objects, coughing or even walking. In such case pain in the scrotum and some lump should be present. The pain should aggravate while standing or coughing. Herniated disc is also one of possibilities. In such case, pain should radiate to the leg, numbness and tingling can be present. Other possible reason is strained muscle in this area.
I suggest you to visit your doctor, have physical examination and consider some tests like scrotum and groin ultrasound, urine analysis, blood work. Orthopedist consult might be also necessary.
Hope this will help. Regards.
