Sore Throat. Swollen, Hurts To Talk, Swallow. Solution?
Lately I ve been having a soar throat for the past two days and today I woke up and that little dangly thing in the back of my throat the uvila is swollen and it hurts to swallow or talk, yesterday through out the day I took 3 does of NyQuil through out the day to help my soar throat but now my uvila is swollen. I can feel it in the back of my throat when I m talking. What can I take or do to get ride of the swelling?
You have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection and uvulitis that is the swelling of your uvula. You need to consult your ENT who may start a course of antibiotics along with anti inflammatory medication containing chymotrypsin to reduce the swelling meanwhile avoid cold drinks and dont meddle with the swelling
