Sore Throat, Red And Swollen And Dark Spot On Throat. Should I Be Worried?
Hello I started getting a sore throat this morning at work, I came home and looked at my throat and it is red a swoolen but something is worrying me I also I have a dark spot on my throat is that a cause for concern? its Friday and my doctor isn t open until Monday. What should I do?

Are you sure that the patch was not there earlier?
It may be a melanotic patch.
It may be present since birth, it is also seen in smokers and tobacco chewers.
Dont worry. Do some salt water gargling for the throat and see your doctor.
