Sore Throat,coughing Yellow Phlegm,runny Nose.
I have had a horrible sore throat for 4 days. It s so bad I cant swallow anything but liquids. I am coughing up yellow phlegm and have a runny nose. Tried Mucinex, no help. Nothing eases the pain, tried cough drops, throat spray, Tylenol , salt water gargle, all with no relief. My throat is really raw feeling now. Since there is runny nose and productive cough I m guessing virus. If I went to my doctor would I be wasting his time?
