Sore Upper Legs Being Unable To Walk After Being Actively In Gym

Was actively at gym until Nov 2013 then my upper legs started getting sore to a point where it is sore to walk especially after sitting down for a while. Then my neck got really stiff over Xmas could hardly turn it either way. Went to physio, improved neck slightly but I think its requires more than physio. Ibuprofen is relieving it a little, neck gets sore when in bed, worse in the morning until I get moving. im 48 years old.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Age a person becomes above 40, body becomes little stiff and bones become little brittle. It is quite a normal process. This is more profound in female. any way now i would recommend you few things, First avoid fat in diets. Do not do much muscle building rather than on cardio and aerobics. Whenever you do muscle building take rest on other day as lactic acid will take time to washed away from muscles. Take protein rich diet , calcium and carnisure tablet to improve muscle strength. when ever there is stiffness in body take a warm shower, also muscle relaxant like myoril and myospaz.
