Started Trazodone, Prozac For Depression, Having Bad Muscle Spasms, Dizzy. Is It Seizures ?

I have just started takeing,Trazodone(50mg) and prozac(40mg) for depression. I have bad muscle spasms. and lately ive been waking up stareing at either corner ofmy room not able to move much, and also I get very dizzy. and I noticed it is hard to comprehend hat to say. Is it possible that I am having seizures? that is a side effect of both meds.

Hi! Since how many days you are taking both of these medications? any other medications taken for whatever other indications? any past history of seizures or anyone had seizures in family? kindly supplement this information. Secondly, your description points more towards rebound anxiety & agitation due to activating side effect of Prozac experienced in initial few weeks of treatment. These are likely to settle down over next 1-2 weeks by themselves. In the meantime, if required, you can request your doctor for a tranquilizer to mitigate these side effects. Lastly, a video eeg will certainly rule out possibility of seizure. Regards
