Started Irregular Periods. Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen While Cooking. Reason?

hi dr samuel! today morning when i was doing my cooking,i experienced a sharp pulling pain/effect(like a vaccum cleaner )in my lower abdomen,n further i feel nauseated n giddy.?my periods have been regular previously and this month the bleeding(spotting) is now and then.after this morning pain i had some beeding which was also little.my stomach is also upset now what may be the reason?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If there is any possibility of pregnancy better to rule out that first.
You consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for one ultrasound to rule out the possibility of intrauterine or ectopic pregnancy.
If that possibility is not there, by examination and ultrasound other possible causes of pain abdomen and inter-menstrual spotting like pelvic inflammatory disease and cervical erosion can be found out and treatment can be taken accordingly.
