Started Taking Warfarin. I Would Like To Know A List Of Drugs That Cannot Be Taken Along With This
Hi my partner has just started taking warfarin & we would like a list of the common drugs such as codine etc that are a no no for him now, as we get told different things by the dr & different things by the chemist on what to take & what not to take . thank-u for your help.
Hello Warfarin is an anticoagulant . Drug interactions. 1 Decrease dose required with broad spectrum antibiotic ( cefoperazone, moxalactam ), aspirin, dipyridamole, phenylbutazone, sulphonamides,indomethacin,phenitoin,probenecid,cimetidine,phenformin,anabolic steroid,quinidine,clofibrate,liquid paraffin. All above mentioned drugs may interact with warfarin.
